On 05/10/19 I finished my last hours of observation with the middle school art teacher at Talawanda. This school uses trimester rotations for art classes, so I was able to observe a full rotation of lessons and ended with the lessons that the students completed before I arrived for my first observation. On this day the seventh graders drew sketches and began carving for the print activity. The eight graders began a photoshop activity to edit a steampunk character into a steampunk themed background.

On 11/21/20 a classmate and I taught a lesson about postcards to a 3rd grade classroom. This was an art lesson that we created to fit into the students' current curriculum. They had been learning about famous landmarks around the world, so we decided to have them create their own postcards using landmarks from Oxford.

On 02/22/20 I taught my first Saturday Art class. The students experimented with art materials and how they interact, then created abstract pieces with their names in the center. They chose specific colors and four patterns/ series' of shapes to visually represent the most prominent aspects of their personalities.
